Before the Session: Keep It Simple
The planning part is easy, we promise. Pick a location that fits your family — we love Unity Park in Magnolia for the fields and the pines, or Old Town Spring if you want some character behind you. Then dress in two or three coordinating colors: cream, sage, denim, warm neutrals. Coordinate, don't match exactly. And whatever you do, don't schedule around nap time. Tired toddlers photograph exactly how they feel.
During the Session: We Direct, You Play
Here's our philosophy: we give you things to do instead of poses to hold. Walk with us. Race to the tree. Whisper something that makes your kid laugh. The best family photos we've ever taken happened in the five seconds between the posed shots — when everyone forgot the camera was there.
If you have little ones, bring the essentials: snacks, a favorite toy, and the bribe of your choice. We don't judge. We once got the best smile of the day from a kid holding a gas station slushie.
After: Actually Print Them
This part matters to us. A gallery that lives on your phone isn't the point. The point is the 16×20 on the wall that your kids walk past every morning. We help you pick the right sizes and finishes so your portraits don't die in the cloud.
